RSU International Winter School on Emergency Medicine offers local and international medical and healthcare students, who have completed two years of study, the opportunity of invaluable and efficient high-quality training in the area of Emergency Medicine. The programme combines lectures, practical work, scenario-based training by country’s leading experts. Additional added-value is given to social activities within the winter school.
The language of instruction is English. International students are awarded a certificate of attendance from Rīga Stradiņš University (based on a minimum of 80 % attendance and participation in all planned study activities).
Local students are awarded 2 points for admission in a Residency programme.
The number of participants is limited for the purpose of providing sufficient quality of the study process.

The fee of the programme is 250 € (accommodation, meals (except coffee breaks), travelling expenses and pocket money are NOT INCLUDED).
International and Latvian medical students having completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate medical studies.
The Winter School takes place from 27th till 30th January 2015.
Students will receive a certificate of attendance. There is no exam, but attendance of at least 80 % and participation in all the scheduled study activities is required to get the certificate.
