The Department of Psichiatry and Narcology, RSU, invites anyone interested to guest lecture titled Mindfulness-Based Interventions to Enhance Patient Care and Personal Resilience by Professor Douglas Ziedonis. Professor is a Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center. The lecture will take place on Thursday, 8 September, from 16:00 to 17:00, at RSU main building, 16 Dzirciema Street, Lecture Theatre No. 2. UMass Memorial Healthcare University of Massachusetts Medical School is the first and the leading centre in the world that developed Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programme and introduced its integration into various fields of medicine. Medical students, residents of various specialities and practitioners are welcome to attend.
