RSU Academic Ball approoaching
This year’s RSU academic ball will be held on Saturday, 8 April at Rīga Latvian Society House (13 Merķeļa Street). The event will start at 7 p.m. and will offer guests a unique possibility to enjoy a special musical performance written by Uldis Marhilēvičs specially for the event, featuring RSU choir Rīga and folk dance group Ačkups. Numerous other musicians will entertain guests over the course of the evening, to name just a few: solo singers Aija Andrējeva and Andris Ērglis, musicians Dzintars Beitāns, Modris Laizāns and Ivars Kalniņš, Mirage Jazz Orchestra, likewise talented RSU graduates and students Agnese Rakovska, Diāna Paško, Lauris Valters and others.
The annual student and staff performance and accomplishment awards are traditionally presented at the academic ball.
As every year, the event will offer multiple performances, unusual shows, dances, refreshments, a cake, a photo booth and other pleasant surprises. The event will be hosted by well-known local actors Dita Lūriņa and Intars Rešetins.
Entrance cards for the event will be available at the box office of the RSU main building (16 Dzirciema Street, Ground Floor) from 15 March. Full price for employees: 10 EUR, students: 5 EUR, booking of a place at a table for eight persons or in the balcony: 20 EUR.
