Tallinn1Reflections on the trip to Tallinn

The field-trip to Tallin took place on Saturday, the 9th of April 2011. From a total of 368 international students at RSU, sixty went on the trip, so 15% of all the international students, which is not bad at all. In fact, a few more had applied, but had to cancel their plans last minute because of the rigid study schedule. Quite a few who did go on the trip had taken their study materials along with them on the bus and were diligently preparing for classes.

All in all the trip went pretty much as planned: thankfully no one got lost, the weather was fantastic and the only thing people complained about was the trip being too short.

Here's what some of the participants had to say:

  • Tallinn2Thank you so much for an awesome day in beautiful Tallinn! It was a great trip for a supercheap price! We were also so lucky with the weather, so nice and sunny! The Estonian lady who did the citytour with us also did a really good job telling all these interesting things.
  • The trip to Tallin was awesome!
  • The trip was absolutely amazing! I loved most of it... The organisation was great, the guide was very nice and some of what she said stuck by, I'm sure. I personally felt it would be nice to stay in Tallinn for one more day. I just felt like there were a few more shops I could have visited and stuff like that.

Thank you all who came and we hope to see you on another trip. We are planning a similar trip to Villnius, the capital of Lithuania, and a lengthier trip of 5 days at the end of the academic year to St Petersburg (next year).
