Research opportunities in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy

RSU Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy offers a number of topics for student research activities on the basis of the following scientific priorities:

  • Mental health;
  • Development & implementation of psychotherapy quality assessment tool;
  • Stress in Latvia: monitoring, clinical analysis, epidemiological surveillance programs, treatment and prevention methodology efficiency assessment;
  • Stress and post-traumatic stress disorder in risk groups: pathogenesis, clinic, diagnostics, prevention, intervention & rehabilitation techniques;
  • Doctor and patient relationships, personalized medicine.
