On 25 March 2015 Rīga Stradiņš University will host The RSU International Student Conference (ISC) in Health and Social Sciences. Latvia’s leading professionals, visiting lecturers and students, as well as numerous guests from abroad will be among conference participants. This is the 64th RSU Student conference and we are proud to say that this year it is an international event.
“The conference is a great challenge, one that leads to numerous sleepless nights, however, life is a continuous journey. While at the university, students’ ambitions grow year by year, thus we take brave steps towards reaching the verge of our ability. We are truly pleased with the opportunity for our students to gain international experience in Latvia,” says member of conference organising team Džeina Mežale, head of science direction, RSU Student Council.
Professionals from Great Britain, Germany, Lithuania and Czech Republic will join Conference Review Committee and evaluate student scientific papers.
Student scientific papers in the fields of healthcare and social sciences will be presented at the conference. Organising Committee received more than 370 applications from 14 countries – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland and other countries.
The conference will be held in English.
For students and academic staff to be able to take part in the conference, there are no classes on 25 March.
