Guest lectures in anaesthesiology and intensive care

On 17 September guest professors Andrew A Klein (Papworth Hospital, Great Britain) and George Djaiani (University of Toronto, Toronto Genetal Hospital, Canada) will deliver three lectures on the subjects of anaesthesiology and intensive care at RSU Hippocrates lecture-theatre. Professor Djaiani's lecture themes are When unpredicted happens: structural surprises in cath lab and Neurological Outcomes after Non-Cardiac Surgery, while that of Dr Klein's is Does the anaesthesiologist increase the mortality risk after surgery?

Time: 10:00–13:00

The guest lectures are organised by the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Faculty of Medicine, RSU. Students, medical residents, teaching staff or anyone interested are welcome to attend.

Royal College of Anaesthetists, Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, British society of echocardiography. Dr Klein is Editor-in-Chief of the journal Anaesthesia, a council member of the Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists (ACTA UK), and an examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
He is also a Fellow of Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge, and their tutor/lecturer in Pharmacology.
