On 5 April, RSU will host the fourth International Student Conference Health and Social Sciences, the largest of the kind in the Baltics.
Psychologists, art therapists, supervisors, teachers, social workers, health care professionals, representatives of other helping professions and students are warmly invited to participate in the 3rd international scientific practical conference Health and Personality Development: Integrative Approach to be held 27–29 April 2017 at Rīga Stradiņš University.
The last Duke of Courland and Semigallia Peter von Biron departed this life 217 years ago. Documents found in the European digital library have given Ieva Lībiete, medical historian and lecturer at RSU, the possibility to draw closer to the secret embraced by the dust of history as to the true cause of Duke’s death.

RSU Faculty of Dentistry is the first in the Baltics to introduce special video cameras in preclinical dental training. The head-mounted cameras allow filming and recording manipulations performed by dental students.
