Faculty of Rehabilitation

  • Google plus

Today one of the most dynamic fields of treatment is the rehabilitation of people, who through a combination of illness and age or through other circumstances have developed serious health problems. This is also shown by the extensive choice of study programmes offered by RSU's Faculty of Rehabilitation. In 1993, the first study programme in Physiotherapy was developed at the University; presently the Faculty of Rehabilitation offers the widest opportunities in Latvia for emerging specialists, who will care for the maintenance, restoration and improvement of people’s health. There are rehabilitation teams at all of the largest Latvian treatment institutions.

At the Faculty of Rehabilitation one can study Bachelor and Professional study programmes not just in Physiotherapy, but also in Occupational Therapy, Audiology & Speech Therapy, Orthotics & Prosthetics and Nutrition (see decriptions in the list below).

Graduates of study programmes "Audiology & Speech Therapy", "Physiotherapy", "Art Therapy" and "Nutrition" can also continue their studies at master’s level.
