Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) is a leading academic research institution in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, rehabilitation and nursing sciences in the Republic of Latvia. RSU also carries out significant research in various fields of the social sciences, humanities and law, as well as technical sciences in relation to application in medicine.

RSU holds a unique place in the scientific field in Latvia, providing a full research translation cycle from laboratories to the beds of patients. This applies to such important research fields as oncology, infections, paediatrics, rehabilitation and dentistry, in particular.
