Collection of PapersIzdots RSU Sociālo zinātņu rakstu krājums angļu valodā Collection of Scientific Papers 2009, kurā apkopoti sociālo zinātņu pētnieku 2009. gada darbi. Pētījumi aptver plašu tēmu spektru — ekonomiku, komunikāciju, politiku, sociālo darbu un tieslietas. Rakstu autori ir gan RSU akadēmiskais personāls (E.Eteris, I.Dovladbekova, J.Bērziņš, I.Kreituse u.c.), gan ārvalstu pētnieki (Hilmar Þór Hilmarsson, Alexander Krügner Constantino, Ramune Linkeviciute u.c.).

Ekonomikas pētnieki galveno uzmanību pievērsuši Eiropas Savienības problēmām — Reģionālās ekonomikas un biznesa katedras profesors Eugene Eteris pēta ES reģionālās politikas ietekmi uz Latviju, bet sadarbībā ar citu katedras profesori Innu Dovladbekovu — sabiedriskās veselības politiku Eiropas Savienībā. Īslandes Akureiri (Akureyri) Universitātes asociētais profesors Hilmar Þór Hilmarsson cenšas noskaidrot kā mazas valstis, tādas kā Īslande un Latvija, var palīdzēt citām pārejas valstīm.

Komunikācijas zinātnes pētniekiem noteikti interesants šķitīs RSU Komunikācijas fakultātes lektores Andas Rožukalnes pētījums „Veselības un veselīga dzīvesveida konstruēšana Latvijas presē (2005-2008)” (Construction of Health and Healthy Lifestyle in Latvian Press (2005-2008)).

Politikas zinātnē divi pētījumi pievēršas politisko partiju problemātikai — Ilze Straume pēta politisko partiju diskursu atbildību un vērtību noturību, bet Elīna Vikmane un Ilga Kreituse — procentu barjeras ietekmi uz partiju fragmentācijas samazināšanos pašvaldībās.

Vislielākā pētnieku uzmanība globalās finanšu krīzes laikā pievērsta sociālās politikas un socialā darba problemātikai, kurām krājumā veltīti 23 raksti. Liela vērība pievērsta rehabilitācijai un terapijai — krājumā atradīsiet vairākus rakstus par mākslas un dejas terapiju.

Arī tieslietu eksperti nav atstājuši bez uzmanības globālās krīzes sekas, piemēram, profesors Andrejs Vilks analizē organizētās noziedzības aktivizēšanos globālās krīzes iespaidā rakstā „Crime and Global Crisis”.

Izdevums būs pieejams RSU bibliotēkā augusta beigās. Par iegādes iespējām var interesēties Zinātnes departamentā.
