The Physiology Interest Group sessions are held once a month; each session is devoted to one system of the body or to the physiology sector.  Members of the interest group have the opportunity to present their topics of interest during the session devoted to the respective field; visitors have the opportunity to listen to student presentations, mentors’ comments, as well as ask their own questions both to the presenter and the mentor.

Once a semester the interest group organises a practical session for laboratory work – the physiological response of a person to a stimulus (for example, physical load) is measured and analysed. Laboratory work can help students to think of their own ideas for research work.

The Department of Human Physiology and Biochemistry and the mentor of the interest group invites those students to join the group who have an interest in conducting research in physiology.
