​* Project manager of the of the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007 – 2013 project PrimCareIT – Counteracting brain drain and professional isolation of health professionals in remote primary health care through tele-consultation and tele-mentoring to strengthen social conditions in remote BSR. During the project piloted tele-consultations between General practitioners and specialists, prepared policy documents for implementation of project results in practice

​* Project manager (continuation of the work started in the Centre of Health Economics after the reorganization of health care institutions). Leader of the work package on development of motivational finance instrument in Primary Health care. During the project new initiative payment scheme quality bonus system (based on principles of payment for performance) were developed and implemented in Latvia. Work in package on quality improvement and regional planning​
