Preliminary Knowledge:
Prior knowledge is not necessary.
Objective:
Acquire understanding of the nature, legal basis and content of criminal investigation and operational activities. Tasks: 1. Enhance students’ understanding of the principles, content, means and process of criminal investigation. 2. Develop students’ understanding of cooperation with other subjects of operational activity. 3. Enhance students’ understanding of cooperation with law enforcement institutions.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The student has mastered the basic knowledge of the nature of criminal investigation and operational activity; the student has acquired basic knowledge of the legal basis and content of criminal investigation and operational activity; the student has acquired basic knowledge of the principles of criminal investigation; the student has mastered basic knowledge of criminal investigation tools and process; the student has mastered basic knowledge of cooperation with other subjects of operational activity; the student has acquired basic knowledge of cooperation with law enforcement institutions.
Skills:Ability to apply the acquired knowledge in criminal investigation process; skills to apply the acquired knowledge in operational activities; ability to use the acquired knowledge in cooperation with other subjects of operational activity; ability to use the acquired knowledge in the information analysis.
Competencies:Has a good knowledge of the process and tools of criminal investigation; has a good knowledge of operative measures; has a good knowledge of other subjects of operational activity.
