| Preliminary Knowledge: | Basics of economics. | ||||||||
| Objective: | The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge about the assessment of health technologies and their role in the planning and efficient use of health care resources. The course is based on the principles of evidence-based medicine and it's application in decision-making in health care. Within the course, students will learn health technology assessment methods, perform clinical and economic assessment of health technologies, learn the interpretation and analysis of the assessment results. | ||||||||

| Unaided Work: | • Independent acquisition of scientific literature; • Collection and analysis of information; • Presentation of group and independent work results. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. | ||||||||
