Individual work by writing protocols and solving case studies.
Assessment Criteria:
5 written colloquiums for full time students, 3 written colloquiums for part-time students, examination consisting of two theoretical questions and one prescription.
Final Examination (Full-Time):Exam (Written)
Final Examination (Part-Time):Exam (Written)
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:On successful completion of the course, the student will know the theoretical justification of preparation of extemporaneous dosage forms and general conceptions of pharmaceutical incompatibility; in the result of acquisition of the course, student will be able to answer questions about pharmaceutical compounding and clarify and justify the order of addition of all components for each dosage form.
Skills:Student will be able to prepare dosage forms quickly enough and with good quality in the result of acquisition of the course. The student will be able to apply methods of pharmaceutical technology for preparation of extemporaneous dosage forms. The student will be able to predict possible incompatibilities in different prescriptions.
Competencies:On completion of the ocurse the student will be able to prepare different extemporaneous dosage forms in pharmacy.
