Objective:
To acquaint students with the study process at RSU, the structure of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the organisation of the study work at the Faculty of Pharmacy, and to develop understanding of pharmacy as a profession and pharmacist's future job opportunities.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Participation in group work by interviewing pharmaceutical professionals and preparing a presentation.
Assessment Criteria:
The test is obtained by preparing and presenting a presentation after meeting with pharmacy field professionals.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of the study course students will get acquainted with the organisation of study work, will be able to find and become acquainted with the internal regulations of the RSU regulating study work, will be able to describe the main fields of pharmacy.
Skills:As a result of the study course students will be able to apply the internal regulations of the institution regulating study work, to recognise the possible work places of a pharmacist.
Competencies:As a result of the course the student will be able to compare the job opportunities of a pharmacist in different fields (pharmacy, scientific research laboratory, pharmaceutical industry, etc.).
