Preliminary Knowledge:
The course “Introduction to the Studies and Speciality” has been mastered.
Objective:
During the study course student learns to develop a story from own ideas, plans gathering of the materials, processes them, works with a text, photography and sound and develops the work until the final stage of publishing it on Student media Skaļāk: https://skalak.rsu.lv.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
During the course, the student develops one high-quality audio story, prepares it for publication in Student media and social media. Exact task and evaluation criteria - in the first lesson. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Workshop and small assignments during the week (30%); a publication (70%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:In the end of the workshop students know when and why audio is the best way to tell the story, and they know if they have what it takes - time, human resources, equipment.
Skills:All the aspects and phases of audiostory making is well known - development of ideas, script writing, sound recording, editing, postproduction, publishing.
Competencies:Ability to deconstruct and analyze an audiostory in a proffesional way.
