Objective: | To develop an understanding of the use of different manipulations according to NMP and general clinical cases, to acquire skills and tactics in the implementation of applicable procedures in specific situations, identifying the desired and undesirable results of activities, taking into account the situation and patient age | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Preliminary preparation for the topic of the respective lesson, using the recommended literature and Internet sources, followed by evaluation and practical application in practical lessons. Independent acquisition of practical skills under the guidance of a lecturer. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | • Compulsory attendance of lectures, seminars, practical classes. • In the study process, students' knowledge is assessed with a grade in the 10-point system, considering a grade not lower than 4 points to be positive, or a two-part grade “passed” - “failed”. In classes, students take tests and solve situation tasks. o At the end of the 1st and 2nd study year, semester tests. o 5th semester of the 3rd study year - practical exam OSKE. • Independent work: In addition, studies literature on relevant topics, which are covered in lectures and classes. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | As a result of the study course, students recognize emergency diagnostic, medical, immobilization and transport equipment, operating principles and application, ensuring the stabilization and treatment of the patient's condition, taking into account the situation and the patient's age context. Understands the basic concepts of electrocardiogram analysis. | ||||||||
Skills: | As a result of mastering the study course, the student is able to explain the indications of the necessary manipulations, use appropriate equipment in the context of the case. Able to distinguish between ECG norm and pathology. | ||||||||
Competencies: | As a result of mastering the study course, the student is able to assess the situation, apply appropriate emergency equipment, perform manipulations for a specific situation and case, is able to evaluate electrocardiograms. | ||||||||
