Preliminary Knowledge:
Basic knowledge on the concepts of International Relations.
Objective:
To identify small states, challanges and issues they face, as well as the unique oppurunities that avail in succeeding in survival and development in the international context.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Mandatory literature (up to 100 pages per lecture), two essays, positive grade in workshops, individual paper and presentation thereof, as well as the exam.
Assessment Criteria:
Participation and acitivity in lectures and workshops – 15%; Essays – 25%; Presentation of the individual paper – 10%; Individual paper – 25%; Exam – 25%.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Knowledge on the foreign policy challanges and available solutions and examples in succesfully conducting foreign policy.
Skills:Understanding limitations of small states in international politics and the importance of unique strategies employed.
