Will classify professionally applied fluoride products and will explain their indications in different caries risk groups. Will name occlusal and proximal dental sealant indications.
Skills:Will apply oral health assessment indices. Will detect and record the stage and activity of carious lesions. Will apply professional topical fluorides according to patient's age and caries risk group. Will apply occlusal and proximal sealants.
Competencies:Will be able to independently assess the need for different caries diagnostic, detection, prevention and treatment methods, taking into consideration the needs of each patient; will be able to follow the scientific literature about new diagnostic and treatment tools and rational use of existing methods.
