1st International Summit of International Association of Physicians in Medical Tourism
On December 2, 2017, representatives of the International Medical Training and Research Centre “Doctors SafeTrain” attended the 1st International Summit of International Association of Physicians in Medical Tourism in Kiev, Ukraine. “Doctors Safe Train” director Dr. Med. Olafs Volrāts presented the offer of the Medical Training and Research Centre in a presentation “Doctors SafeTrain Training Centre and its Offered Solutions for Educating Foreign Doctors, Residents, Nurses, and Veterinarians.”
The necessity of continuing education for doctors, veterinarians and residents was discussed. During the summit, the representatives made new international partners from Europe and former CIS countries.
A new line of international medical tourism was also defined – doctors training, internship.
the International Medical Training and Research Centre “Doctors SafeTrain” is the result of mutual cooperation of two leading universities in Latvia: Rīga Stradiņš University and Latvia University of Agriculture Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The training center offers practical training and seminars for doctors, veterinarians and medical service staff to enhance their further education and development.
