For RSU students to be able to access practical information on studies more easily, from this semester the RSU Student Portal (previously UNIVERSUM) is accessible via smart devices. From now on, using the mobile application “MyRSU”, students will have an opportunity to keep track of their grades, e-mail, calendar and receive automatic notifications about current events held at RSU.

myrsu_elektroniskie_mater.pngIn addition to the these benefits, the renewed Student Portal will give a detailed overview of student payments – a printable balance sheet, schedule of fees, such as accommodation and tuition fees. The application will also offer a map featuring all RSU study facilities that will be a great help for students throughout their first year of studies.

The new app enables students to apply for an ISIC card and public transport discount, send an e-mail to a lecturer, apply for a transcript online and use the unified search engine PRIMO. The  changes have also been made in the PC version of the portal, available at my.rsu.lv.

From 11 to 15 February students are invited to visit the MyRSU information booth to get assistance in configuring the app for their smart devices and ask questions regarding its use. From 11 to 13 January the booth will be available in the lobby of the RSU main building (16 Dzirciema iela), whereas from 14 to 15 February – in the Medical Education Technology Centre at Anniņmuižas bulvāris 26A.

Try the app until 15 February, provide your feedback and win one of ten RSU hoodies.

The MyRSU Portal allows students to receive personalised messages relevant to their study programme. Soon students will have the opportunity to receive instant notification as soon as a new grade is posted.
