Morning Health Talks to Take Place 14 November
We are delighted to invite you to this year's second Morning Health Talks – 'Open Innovation Journeys: Collaborative Pathways, Alliances and Networks' that will be held on 14 November from 09:00 to 12:00 EEST.
The aim of the event is to get an insight into Open Innovation alliances and how these alliances can contribute to data sharing in sandbox environments.
We will be looking at successful healthcare sandbox initiatives, exploring data governance models in open innovation environments, discussing privacy, security, and ethical considerations in healthcare data sharing.
We warmly invite you to delve into the world of open innovation by connecting to our event online. A Zoom link will be sent at least one day before the event.
The event will be held in a hybrid format. Onsite event will take place at the Andalūzijas Suns restaurant (Elizabetes street 83, Riga, Latvia). Participation in the onsite event is invitation-only. Please e-mail Dace Lešinska (dace[pnkts]lesinskarsu[pnkts]lv), EIT Health RIS Hub in Latvia, if interested, and we will try to find an opportunity for your participation.
The event will be held in Latvian, except for the presentation, which will be in English.

* Markus Kalliola is a program director in The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, and coordinator of Joint Action Towards The European Health Data Space (TEHDAS). Prior to Sitra he worked in the European Commission in DG Health and food safety where he was responsible of the cross-border healthcare IT projects. Mr. Kalliola has vast experience in data economy from both public and private sectors.
The event is organized by the Latvia Hub of EIT Health - European Institute of Innovation & Technology Health Knowledge and Innovation Community. EIT Health RIS hub in Latvia operates from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU).
The first EIT Health Morning Health Talks of the year took place on 6 June 2024.
