At the winter graduation ceremony to be held this Friday on 9 February, Rīga Stradiņš University will award diplomas to 311 graduates of medical, healthcare, law, business, international relations and communication study programmes, among them 64 international students from 10 countries. The graduation ceremony will be held in the Great Hall in the RSU main building at 16 Dzirciema iela.

The graduation ceremony for the RSU International Student Department, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Rehabilitation and the Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare will be held from 12.00 to 14.00. There will be 64 graduates of the study programmes “Medicine” and “Dentistry” from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Norway, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands. RSU diplomas will be also awarded to 13 graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy, study programmes “Industrial Pharmacy” and “Clinical Pharmacy”. The Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare will be graduated by 51 health sport and social work specialists and the Faculty of Rehabilitation will award diplomas to 36 graduates of the study programmes “Nutrition”, “Physiotherapy” and “Art Therapy”.

The graduation ceremony for the Faculty of European Studies, the Faculty of Communications and the Faculty of Law will be held from 16.00 to 18.00. The Rīga Stradiņš University diplomas will be awarded to 10 graduates of the Faculty of European Studies, study programmes “International Relations and Diplomacy”, “International Business and Law” and “Management of International Marketing and Business” whereas the Faculty of Communications will be graduated by 6 Public Relations, Social Anthropology and Strategic Management and Public Relations specialists. The Faculty of Law will have the highest number of graduates – there will be 118 legal specialists graduating the study programme “Law”.
