Main functions

  • To draft a procurement plan for purchasing research equipment and technologies, laboratory and learning materials and supervise the execution of the plan;
  • To procure research equipment and technologies according to the budget approved by the structural units;
  • To ensure the availability of reagents, chemicals and laboratory materials at research institutions;
  • To ensure data maintenance relating to procurement and monitor contract performance;
  • To organise and manage the work of the RSU Procurement Commission;
  • To advise RSU employees on the procurement process and drafting technical specifications for purchasing research equipment;
  • To represent RSU at the Procurement Monitoring Bureau and other institutions.
