To acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills of basic patient care standards and clinical procedures.
General pathology, pathological physiology, infection control, basics of clinical care.
Acquire basic knowledge of patient care, factors contributing to recovery. Demonstrate orientation in the latest medical technologies used in clinical care.
Evaluate the patient's condition and practice performing clinical procedures, patient hygiene procedures, patient vital and anthropometric measurements, gastrointestinal procedures, urinary tract procedures, heat and cold therapy procedures, laboratory preparation investigations. Make records of assigned and executed procedures.
Ability to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures, medical devices, and other activities for optimal patient care.
To be able to analyse situations, to reason, to formulate and explain one's point of view logically.
