Objective
To develop an understanding of medical disciplines by learning the main skin diseases, their aetiology, clinics and tactics in emergency situations.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology, communication and ethics.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student will be able to identify skin types and explain the aetiology, clinic and tactics of skin diseases in acute situations.
Skills
Students will be able to assess the skin condition of a patient/client and evaluate the aetiology and symptomatology of skin diseases. They will be able to deal with acute situations.
Competence
Students will be able to recognise pathological changes in the skin, assess the patient’s condition and perform a massage procedure according to the patient’s condition.
