Developement and Adaptation of Questionnaires in Scientific Research Work (LF_642)
To develop students' understanding of the types of psychological tests and surveys, concepts of psychometrics, stages of development and adaptation of tests and surveys, to provide students with knowledge about psychometrics, development and adaptation of psychological tests, to provide students with skills to develop or adapt test or survey by independently planning and implementing a pilot study and evaluating its results, as well as is to increase knowledge and requisite skills of participants on the use of SPSS program.
Student defines and explains concepts of psychometrics, measurement scales, reliability and validity criteria of tests and surveys. Identifies the development stages of tests and surveys and explains the standardisation and adaptation procedures.
Uses the terminology acquired during the course; discusses the types of tests and surveys and their development and adaptation; plans the pilot study and correctly prepares the necessary stimulus materials for its implementation; performs a test/survey development or adaptation of an existing test/survey working in a group; uses SPSS software to calculate psychometric indicators; discusses test and survey development stages, measurement scales, item analysis, test and survey reliability and validity.
Compares different tests/surveys based on scientific principles. Plans and implements test/survey development or adaptation independently using guidelines.
