About Study Course
Objective
Study objective is to give knowledge of the digestive tract, renal and endocrine diseases and how to manage those diseases, to know how to apply diagnostic criteria, they learn to recognize clinical entity, including additional investigations, indicate the treatment principles with explained therapeutic choices.
Prerequisites
Digestive tract, kidneys and endocrine system in normal and pathological anatomy and physiology, investigating options, including propaedeutics and image diagnostics and pharmacotherapy.
Learning outcomes
Study the subject of learning leading to knowledge of the study list named the gastrointestinal tract, kidney and endocrine diseases.
Using intelligence data will be able to formulate the most probable diagnosis in internal medicine, will be able to choose the validation data, as well as additional relevant information / investigations, choose the treatment principles and practical application of the given situation, and determine the prognosis for an individual patient.
Independently plan inquiries to balance the existing knowledge from previous courses to the new subject matter, be able to organize the examination of a patient acting for the one and 2-3 student group, to be able to use literature, internet, peer and teacher knowledge, and precise formulation of the question, assume responsibility for student group work presentation.
