Preprotesthic Surgery (MUSZKK_012)
to acquire basic knowledge of dental implantology and preprosthetic surgery.
Knowledge of topographic anatomy and operative surgery, oral surgery, basic and oral pathology, microbiology, radiology, general surgery, internal diseases, pharmacology.
Students will be able to define patient selection, to describe indications and contraindications for dental implantation, to classify implant types and to describe preprosthetic surgery methods in detail.
Students will know how to choose the right implantology and preprosthetic method for an individual patient. They will be able to perform implant placement in the plastic jaw.
The students will be able to perform planning of simple implantology cases and perform implantation and prosthetics on a patient under supervision of a teacher.
