Objective

to develop knowledges about psychosomatic processes and them effects to different human organ systems, to develop skills and competences to evaluate the dates of patients lifes and illnesses, and dates from patients diseas paper, to develop skills and competences to evaluate difficalties to work with psychosomatic disorder’s patients

Prerequisites

Biological basics of psyche, Personality psychology, Clinical psychology, Psychiatry and psychopharmacology, Developmental psychology, Individual consulting and psychotherapy

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

students explain the major theoretical concepts of psychosomatic medicine; explain the role of defenses in the process of illness; discribe and assess data of anamnesis; recognize and analyse thepsychodynamic processes of illnesses of various organ systems

Skills

students collect data of anamnesis life and diseases; evaluate interaction of social and psychic factors role to illness; evaluate potential difficulties/problems at work with psychosomatic patients;

Competence

students analyse patient’s hystory of diseases from psychosomatic viewpoint; logically formulate and interpret the date
