Objective

To give an idea of the basic functions and procedures of records management, their place and relation with the provision of administrative work, its role in strengthening and improvement of professional skills of a lawyer.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

After completing the study course, students have acquired the following knowledge:
1. and understanding of the organisation of records management, types of documents and grouping in the administration system;
2. on development and drafting of documents in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulatory enactments (legally accurate positioning of details, text and official marks);
3. for the development and drafting of electronic documents in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulatory enactments.

Skills

After completing the study course, students:
1. understand the basics of records management and the nature of legal techniques;
2. are able to develop and execute orders, organisational, internal correspondence, personnel documents and other types of documents;
3. are able to draft internal legal instruments, to conduct scientific research.

Competence

After completing the study course, students:
1. are able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in the practical development and drafting of documents;
2. are able to engage in creative and critical discussions about problems in the development and drafting of documents;
3. are able to evaluate and analyse the legal force of a document.
