Objective

The course aims at identifying small states, the problems they face as well as challenges, and approaches to ensuring the survival, well being and development.

Prerequisites

Students should have basic knowledge about the concepts of international relations.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Students will be able to describe the challenges and available solutions of small states, and provide information on successful foreign policy examples of small states.

Skills

Students will be able to understand the limits of small states in international politics, as well as the importance of use of strategy.

Competence

Students will be able to carry out research on the foreign policy of small states.
