Preliminary Knowledge:
Theoretical knowledge in pedagogy.
Objective:
Assessment of of communication, speech and language skils in early childhood (until age 3). Assessment of communication, articulation, pronunciation for children in pre-school and school years.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Working with literature on the subject. Preparing for lessons. Preparing one clinical case presentation.
Assessment Criteria:
• Supervisor’s assessment; • Analysis of two clinical cases; • Reflection of acquired knowledge, conclusions and self-appraisal in form of essay; • Reflection of created materials during the praxis; • Accounting form of praxis lessons; • Presentation at the final workshop.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: • Evaluate speech, language and communication skills for children until age 3; • To analyse sounds' pronunciation skills and results of evaluation. • To describe speech sounds pronounce.
Skills:Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: • Evaluate speech, language and communication skills for children until age 3; • Evaluate speech sound; • Plan assessment and treatment; • Design visual aids, lesson plans.
Competencies:Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: • Evaluate speech, language and communication skills in early childhood; • Evaluate sounds' pronunciation in different old age; • Analyse results of evaluation by setting aims and short-term tasks.
