Objective

The national examination is organised as an integrated examination, simultaneously assessing knowledge of public health and its various subfields, such as environmental health, occupational health, epidemiology, social medicine, health promotion and education, health care organisation, management and financing, as well as the student’s analytical and communication skills.

Prerequisites

All students who have successfully passed the requirements of the Public Health professional Bachelor’s study programme are admitted to the state examination.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

An integrated examination that assesses knowledge of public health and its subfields, such as environmental health, occupational health, epidemiology, health promotion and education, health care organisation, management and financing, as well as analytical and communication skills.

Skills

To analyse the situational task, identify problems and plan actions according to the identified problems.

Competence

To analyse data, group it according to priorities.
