About Study Course
Objective
Students gain the knowledge of emergency and elective abdominal surgical diseases, of the outbreak, pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis, treatment, prevention principles.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology, patologic physiology and psychology.
Learning outcomes
The student should acquire knowledge of different surgical disease diagnosis and appropriate tactics for treatment.
On study course completion the student will be able to evaluate the various clinical situations in the context of surgical pathology.
On completion of the study course, students will be able to:
• analyse the findings of the investigation;
• create the necessary laboratory and instrumental investigation plan for the patient;
• argue, rationalise and to formulate expanded surgical clinical diagnosis;
• formulate the conservative and surgical treatment.
