Objective

To provide students with an in-depth understanding of the practical application of theoretical knowledge acquired in the relevant field of social sciences.

Prerequisites

Theory of Microeconomics, Theory of Macroeconomics, International Marketing, Research Methodology in Economics, Statistics, International Communication and Business Ethics.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The students acquire knowledge of the principles of operation of a company in the particular field.

Skills

Ability to describe the field of sector and sub-sector, direction, characteristic key indicators of the company/organisation.
Ability to analyse the area of activity of the company/organisation.
Ability to evaluate the size of the company/organisation (micro, small, medium, large) according to the following criteria: turnover, balance total, number of employees.
Ability to analyse and systematise the obtained information.
Ability to use data processing methods.
Ability to enhance teamwork skills.
Ability to communicate with the company/organisation staff.

Competence

Using the knowledge acquired during the study process, students clarify the mission, vision, goals (strategic, tactical, operational) of the company/organisation.
Using the knowledge acquired during the study process, students evaluate the plan system of the company/organisation (long-term, short-term, operational plans).
