Objective

During clinical practice, theoretical knowledge and practical skills are improved and strengthened, patient care and related clinical procedures are integrated, according to the standard of the nursing profession, the principles of professional ethics and the knowledge acquired in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd study year program in various practice contexts - rehabilitation center, outpatient medical rehabilitation services for patients/clients in different age groups (children, adults, elderly).

Prerequisites

Clinical pharmacology and medication care, family medicine, infectious disease and patient care, obstetrics and gynecology; patient care, geriatric and home care, neurology and patient care.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Acquire basic knowledge in primary, secondary and tertiary level maternal and neonatal, child care.

Skills

Theoretical and practical skills required for planning and performing care in maternal and neonatal care, child care, gynecological diseases for patients both in the clinic and other health care institutions have been improved, taking into account the peculiarities of transcultural care. To develop an independent care plan for a specific patient and to provide care in accordance with the set priorities. Skills in educating the public and patients on health care issues.

Competence

Ability to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures and other care activities – in the care of pediatric, obstetric and gynecological patients at different ages.
