Learn about different types of massage and basic self-massage techniques without and with aids.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
As a result of learning the study course, students name and describe the nature of classical, sports and self-massage methods, physiological aspects and ways of using auxiliary devices.
Skills
As a result of learning the study course, students recognize the indications/contraindications of classical, sports and self-massage methods and assess the necessity of the method in practice for a specific client.
Competence
Using the acquired knowledge and basic skills, students analyze, plan and implement self-massage techniques or recommend another type of massage to a specific client.
