Objective

To introduce students to current global policy developments from a regional perspective. In the course, students will gain more in-depth knowledge of the world’s emerging growth regions, their internal dynamics and their role in international processes.

Prerequisites

For successful completion of the study course, students must have a prior knowledge of the basic concepts of international relations.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Will orient in the information about the new major regions of the world and internal developments therein, and understand their role in international processes.

Skills

Will be able to analyse the internal dynamics of regional powers and regions and their role in international processes.

Competence

During the study course, students will improve their competence in relation to international relations and the similarities and differences between world regions.
