RSU has retained the title for the second year in a row. In addition, RSU has managed to rise dramatically in the overall rankings – from 30th place last year to 16th place this year.

Toms Baumanis, RSU Vice-Rector for Administration and Development said: ‘We would like to thank our outstanding employees, students, and graduates because of whom Rīga Stradiņš University has retained its placement for the second year in a row, despite major changes.

We are aware that retaining good employees is of utmost importance in today’s labour market, and we also consider it an important priority.

We are the most international university in the Baltics, which brings fresh winds into everyday working life; we continue to develop various wellbeing events, and we provide health insurance, additional leave, and various continuing education opportunities, which many of our employees value.”

The TOP Employer survey has been conducted for 13 years with the aim of identifying the most popular and recognised employers in Latvia in a number of categories. According to the results, only one company in the TOP50 list has retained its position, whereas 13 employers returned to the list or entered the list for the first time.
