The IX Latvian Gastroenterology Congress will take place on 7 December 2019 at Riga Congress Centre (5 Kr. Valdemāra Iela). The congress is supported by Rīga Stradiņš University.

The slogan for this year's congress is: Gastroenterology in Latvia and the World

Leading lecturers from Latvia and other countries will be participating in the congress which will focus on the following topics:

• gastroenterology;
• hepatology;
• endoscopy and surgical gastroenterology;
• microbiota;
• pathology in gastroenterology;
• gastroenterological oncology;
• and dietology and nutrition, among other topics.
