Apply for studies in English

In order to submit your application:

Fill in the online application.
Follow the Application Guide and upload the necessary application documents onto your application.
Submit the application and admissionsrsu[pnkts]lv (inform us) - state your NAME, SURNAME and application NUMBER (top right corner).
Check the application deadlines and submit your application on time!
NB! Once your RSU contact person has registered your online application (it will say "Registered" on your e-Admissions portal), you can no longer upload additional documents. If there are any missing documents at that point, please send them to your RSU contact person via e-mail as soon as you have obtained them. The contact person will upload the documents onto your online application for you.
Check for updates on your online application. If RSU decides to issue an Offer of Study Place to you, it is published on your online application. The exact same information is also sent to you via e-mail.

The best way to discover Riga and RSU is to attend an Open Day at RSU! Come for a 3 hour-long tour of the University on one of several dates throughout the year. Open Days always take place on a Friday morning so you can stay for a weekend in the lovely city of Riga!

In the 2025/2026 academic year, RSU plans to admit 620 international students to the Medicine study programme (380 in September 2025 and 240 in February 2026), 64 international students to the Dentistry study programme (32 in September 2025 and 32 in February 2026), and up to 30 international students in all other programmes that RSU offers in English.

* The duration of studies depends on your bachelor's level education and work experience
