Legal Aspects of the Pedagogical Process (LSPA_138)
About Study Course
Objective
To develop an understanding of the legal system of Latvia, basic concepts of certain legal subsectors, protection of children’s rights and fundamental labour rights issues in the activities of the educator, as well as organising documentation of the pedagogical process.
Prerequisites
Language knowledge, digital skills, understanding the education sector, logical thinking
Learning outcomes
1.Clarified Latvian legal system and fundamental issues
1.Analyses and describes the legal aspects of the work and is able to discuss them
1.Be able to apply the provisions of labour legislation independently when working or managing an institution, organisation or undertaking in the field of education, sport or other, as well as legally correct conclusion and termination of an employment contract.
