Objective

To acquire deep knowledge of human body movement analysis, including the analysis of sports movements, by determining the movement phases, muscles and joints that participate in execution of movements.

Prerequisites

The knowledge acquired at LASE in the 1st year of studies in the anatomy study course and foundations of sports biomechanics in the 2nd year of studies.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1.Will know about the dynamic anatomy of basic human movements (movement phases, muscles and joints participating in the execution of movements).

Skills

1.Will be able to perform exercises and name the joints and muscles that are involved.

Competence

1.Will be able to analyse muscle function in different movements – which joints, which muscles work and in what order in different sports movements.
