Basics and Methodology of Skiing (LSPA_227)
About Study Course
Objective
Mastering of main movements of outdoor activities – skiing, participating in and leading safe health promoting outdoor winter activities, which are the basis for strengthening physical health, mastering experience, knowledge and skills. Tools and movement methods according to the situation, for identification and prevention of risks choosing personal supplies for yourself and others.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in anatomy, sports physiology, sports biomechanics and ergonomics. Basic skills on cyclical movements (walking, running, walking, swimming).
Learning outcomes
1.Defines teaching and learning methods, techniques and means of cross-country skiing, taking into account an individual approach according to age, gender and level of development. Defines the main key words of skiing didactics in English.
1.Demonstrates ways of travelling cross-country skiing: walking in plain and climbing, braking modes, climbing modes, turning modes.
1.Plan an interdisciplinary and individualised learning process at all levels of education.
