Objective
The course has four objectives:
1) To introduce students to the various ways in which anthropological research in East Asia fits into broader anthropological discussions;
2) To introduce students to ways of analyzing new texts in the context of classical studies;
3) Develop students' expertise in the use of ethnographic methods in the context of various researches;
4) Develop students' presentation and feedback skills.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in anthropology.
