About Study Course
Objective
Learn in depth about tuberculosis infection in children and adults, epidemiology, clinic, prevention, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment options. Acquire knowledge of sarcoidosis: aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical signs, diagnosis and therapy. Gain an understanding of the organisation of work in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Learning outcomes
1.Know the peculiarities of tuberculosis infection in children and adults, epidemiology, clinical picture, prophylaxis, diagnostic tests, differential diagnosis, treatment options. Know sarcoidosis: aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical signs, diagnosis and therapy.
1.Able to differentiate tuberculosis infection, sarcoidosis, make a diagnostic plan and a treatment plan. Interpret the reaction of Mantoux test results.
1.Use the acquired knowledge and skills to perform the functions of a highly qualified specialist and to advise patients with acquired and congenital lung and respiratory diseases at any age of the child.
