About Study Course
Objective
To teach the medical genetics resident to create a doctor-patient relationship model observing principles of ethics and to be able during communication to differentiate patient’s level of functioning.
Learning outcomes
1.Burnout syndrome risk factors, preventive measures, principles of ethics in doctor-patient relationships, psychosomatic reactions in various degrees of stress situations; how to inform a patient on incurable disease, borderline personality disorder, its development and precaution used; neurotic personality, its development and precaution used.
1.Medical genetics patient must be able to define the ethical and psychological issues.
1.After a successfully completed study course, the medical genetics resident has acquired the mandatory competence. Resident’s knowledge corresponds the overall understanding of doctor-patient relationship development model; the resident is able to differentiate the patients’ level of functioning and observe the basic principles of ethics.
